The eight-year-old’s dress is the ivory scallop collar chiffon dress by Self Portrait, which retails at £245. Though the dress is currently on sale for £171.

Royal fans were quick to respond to her outfit on Twitter, with one person writing: «Charlotte’s dress looks so pretty!!»

Another wrote: «I love Charlotte’s dress #CoronationConcert.» A third said: «Charlotte has a lovely dress.»

Someone else commented: «Princess Charlotte is definitely a chip off the family fashion block. Our mini royal is wowing us tonight in her gorgeous Self Portrait dress.»

The royal looked as though she was enjoying the concert as she sat beside mum Kate and her brother George.

Many pictures showed her enthusiastically waving a union flag as she listened to the musical acts.

She was spotted singing along to the songs and dancing away with George.

Later on she attempted to get her brother’s attention and pointed at her father the Prince of Wales as he made his way onto the stage to deliver a speech during the Coronation Concert.

As William concluded his speech, he said: «God Save the King,» which was repeated loudly by the thousands in attendance.

The speech was followed by the national anthem, which was sung by all present, including Prince George.

The King smiled and waved to the crowd at the end of the national anthem.

Earlier on a pianist from Queen Camilla’s patronage, the Amber Trust, performed for the King and Queen during the Coronation Concert.

The trust provides opportunities for blind and partially sighted people, and in Sunday’s concert a girl named Lucy, who also has severe autism, performed Bach’s Prelude in C Major.

The rendition prompted smiles and applause from the Princess of Wales, Princess Charlotte and the King.
